 Quality Christmas Music, for FREE! Recommended! December 17, 2008
The "Amazon Holiday Sampler" is a free download from Amazon! The music is by well known artists and is a quality production. It contains 5 songs, including:
1) I Wish You A Merry Christmas (Bing Crosby) - My favorite from this group
2) Deck the Halls (Peggy Lee)
3) The Nutcracker Suite (Les Brown & His Band Of Renown)
4) Auld Lang Syne (The Beach Boys)
5) Jingle Bells (Roger Wagner Chorale) - Very enjoyable
Really very enjoyable and can't beat the price (free :-)
Note that you will have to download Amazon's music manager software (automatic and also free). This was a fast and painless install, but worth mentioning.

Why require the software to download mp3 albums instead of just downloading the files normally? Unfortunately, my computer is too old, so, too bad for me and anyone else in the same boat.

Sometimes it pays to check your e-mail messages from Amazon when you've signed up for the various newsletters here, and this is a good example. Found this Amazon Holiday Sampler listed, checked it, and found an excellent surprise for those who might want to add to their collection of traditional holiday music, with some interesting surprises.
The tracks on this sampler are:

What can I say? Great songs always has been. It was really nice to get it as a free MP3 download from Amazon. I was so surprized when I listened to the album. The Nut Cracker Suite! WOW. I just started getting songs here because of a $5 gift certificate and found all these great free downloads, Thanks Amazon
